The best Danish design from the leading Danish design manufacturers combined with delicious food, blooming flowers, sunshine and "secret" picnic adventures from traditional Danish outings - is replacing the normal INDEX: conference and will serve as the INDEX: network conference in 2009.
Knowing that our network participates in world leading conferences around the globe, and accepting - and taking into account - that all the people gathering in Copenhagen for the launch of INDEX:2009 actually came to see INDEX:, to see Danish design and most of all to spend time and talk to each other. Therefore, INDEX: - in collaboration with partners Royal Copenhagen, Fritz Hansen, Georg Jensen and Illums Bolighus - launches the Danish Design Picnic 2009, where all these objectives are met in a casual and fun setting.
